“religious” comics August 13, 2006

No, I am not talking about Hanna Barbara “Christian Archie” comics. In recent years there has been a handful of comics aimed at an older crowd that deals with religious history (or religion itself). These comics or graphic novels generally focus on one religion and give them a different perspective. Douglas Rushkoff has recently put out one such Jewish-based comic called “Testament“. Testament is apparently quite unorthodox, from what I have read. Another one to look forward to is a Christian-based graphic novel by Jim Munroe based on the Book of Revelation. Anyway, just a heads up for anyone interested. Of course, if you know of any more “religious” comics or have read Testament, give me a shout so I can post it up here.
